BMD Urban Pty Ltd (BMD) on behalf of Stockland Development Pty Limited (Stockland) are carrying out land development and landscaping works in your area.
As part of the development work, in the coming weeks BMD will be required to shut vehicle road access to a section of Endeavour St & Monaro Crescent to the general public to construct new water services across Cygnet Crescent and removal/reinstatement of the road. Access to all driveways will maintained during this time. Refer to Figure 1

Figure 1 – Plan showing road closure
In order to reduce the impact on surrounding residents, we will stage these activates and will install a temporary footpath to maintain pedestrian access. This pedestrian access will be fenced off to the site to maintain safety between the construction activities and general public.
The staging will consist of the below
Stage 1
Scope of work:
Temporary pedestrian path constructed
Water main road crossings
Stormwater main crossings
Duration: Approx. 1 to 2 Weeks
Impact: Road Closed. Temporary pedestrian path open
Once the crossings are completed, we will re-open the road for general public
Stage 2
Scope of work:
Temporary pedestrian path opened
Removal of existing road surface and road base
Road Pavement construction
Asphalt
Duration: Approx. 3 to 4 Weeks
Impact: Road Closed. Temporary pedestrian path open
Local pedestrian / traffic changes will include:
Pedestrian Footpath
A temporary footpath linking Endeavour St and Monaro Cr will be provided during the road closure periods. This will be in line with the proposed Temporary Traffic Management Plan (TTM) which is currently with TCCS for approval.
Vehicular Traffic Detour
A detour directing vehicles to alternative routes will be set up in line with the approved TTM. A copy of the TTM will be made available on the community engagement website once approved.
Norfolk St
Norfolk St to remain closed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic until the end of August 2020.
Other Traffic Management Conditions
All other current traffic management conditions to remain in place until all heavy construction work has been completed and until the end of August 2020
BMD understand that this may be inconvenience and hopes to work together with you in a professional and amicable manner for the long-term improvement of your neighbourhood.
Your patience, and co-operation is greatly appreciated while the works are under way.
